As part of our celebration, we are offering an opportunity for family, friends, or an organization to recognize a military veteran, or an active military member still in service. Banners are available on a first come, first serve basis. There are just 31 spaces available. Banners are double faced, and will be displayed on downtown light poles at certain times per year until they wear out. Banner sponsors must be able to supply a clear photograph of the honoree along with their full name, and branch of service. Sponsors are allowed to have their name on the banner also. Currently, the banner shown here is an approximation of what the final banner will look like. The group is still finalizing a design, The cost of sponsoring a banner is $125.00, and banners are approximately 2 feet by 5 feet. You will be contacted with photo requirements and sent a proof of the final banner design.

As part of our celebration, we are offering an opportunity for family, friends, or an organization to recognize a Former Newmarket resident who provided exceptional. service/leadership to the Town of Newmarket. Banners are available on a first come, first serve basis. There are just 31 spaces available. Banners are double faced, and will be displayed on downtown light poles at certain times per year until they wear out. Banners will carry the name and a photograph of the honoree.. Since we must have a photo/drawing/likeness of the person. Sponsors are allowed to have their name on the banner also. Currently, the banner shown here is a place holder of what the final banner will look like. The group is still finalizing a design, The cost of sponsoring a banner is $125.00, and banners are approximately 2 feet by 5 feet. Since we are featuring mainly residents who have passed, the New Market Historical Society has kindly provided a list of potential honorees that we have likenesses of. The committee is willing to consider other potential honorees. Names in bold have already been sponsored.
