Why Should My Business Join The 300 Club?

One of the outcomes of the celebration that is a goal of the USA250/NEWMARKET300 volunteers is to build community, and not just among residents but the business community also. No one wants to live in a silo. The purpose of the 300 Club is to get 300 businesses and residents working together to build community and help fund the promotion and production of events celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the 300 Anniversary of Newmarket becoming its own parish.

So the 300 Club is exclusive and carries benefits for businesses that bring recognition within the community. Each member gets a certificate of membership suitable for framing and display along with a distinctive logo pin that is only available to 300 members. In addition, their business will be listed on the 300 page in the commemorative book which will be available in November of 2026. This initiative brought together 70 authors to write stories about 103 people, places, and things about Newmarket-its quite an accomplishment, especially to know you are supporting it.

Directly promoting a business is a digital connection that lists the business as a 300 Club Member for TWO years. Each listing will have a hyperlink that will connect directly to their website or Facebook page. The 300 Club Quarterly Newsletter offers updates on coming events, early purchase opportunities on commemoratives /tickets, and an opportunity to market directly to other 300 Club Members with a one line promotion in each newsletter. The promotion can be a discount on goods or services, buy one get one, special services or an added value. The 300 Club will also sponsor some events, enter a float in Memorial Day Parades, and other benefits and opportunities as they arise.

As a business member , you will also receive a free 1 year Business Membership to the New Market Historical Society/Stone School Museum. Founded in 1966, the New Market Historical Society/Stone School Museum will celebrate 60 years of service to the community in 2026. The membership includes a listing on the website with hyperlink, and a special viewing of the 2026 exhibits before they open to the public for Summer Sundays Season in June. This is a $25 value.
